Over the past few weeks, we have undergone the beginnings of a redesign that we hope will allow us a great deal more flexibility than we had on our previous platform. Expect more recipes, news, information, reviews, and a ton of new jerky-oriented information to appear on The Jerky FAQ.

Our goal is to provide jerky lovers with more than the simple beef jerky recipe sites that are a dime a dozen as we believe our experience with many game meats and a background in the culinary arts gives us an advantage over the rest of the jerky websites.

Please be patient as we continue to upgrade the site and add more content, including more recipes, tips, and general information about the wonderful world of jerky. It’s a big job, but we’re dedicated. Remember… Beef jerky is just the start, there is a whole new world of different jerky out there, ripe for dehydrating!

  1. I was looking at the duck jerky recipe. If I’m going to be using a smoker do I still need to add the liquid smoke to the recipe?
